Case Sensitivity in Programming Languages: A Comparison
Most modern languages are case-sensitive: JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust, Swift, Java, C, C++, C#.
Notable exceptions: SQL (in most dialects), HTML attributes, CSS property names, Fortran, Pascal, and classic Visual Basic.
Case insensitivity can hide bugs: if userID and UserId are the same, you can't tell which one your teammate meant. Modern conventions universally favor strict case matching.
