SQL Naming Conventions: snake_case Through the Years
Most SQL dialects fold unquoted identifiers to lowercase or uppercase, which makes mixed-case names a liability. snake_case sidesteps the issue: user_id reads the same whether the dialect folds to USER_ID or user_id.
Reserve PascalCase or camelCase for quoted identifiers — but quoting every identifier gets noisy fast.
